Maternity sessions are generally best scheduled between 28 and 34 weeks, depending on your pregnancy and comfort.
PAYMENT
A 50% nonrefundable booking retainer and signed contract are required to reserve your session. The remaining is due 72 hours before the session. Your date is not officially reserved until both the contract and retainer have been received.
Studio rental, specialty gowns, custom props, admission fees and travel outside the standard service area are separate.

hospital newborn
Fresh 48 Hospital Newborn Session
A Fresh 48 session captures your baby’s first hours of life at the hospital or birth center. These sessions are relaxed and documentary-style, focusing on the real emotions and small details of this unforgettable time—tiny fingers and toes, hospital bracelets, first cuddles and your family meeting the newest addition.
Fresh 48 sessions take place within approximately 48 hours after delivery, before you and your baby leave the hospital. This is not birth photography, and labor or delivery will not be photographed

PAYMENT
A $100 nonrefundable retainer is required to reserve your due-date window. The remaining $150 is due before the photographer enters the hospital or birth center.
Because delivery dates can change, your due date is used to reserve a flexible availability window rather than an exact session date. Please contact Framed by Ash when labor begins and again after your baby arrives. The final session time will be coordinated based on your recovery, the baby’s needs, hospital rules and photographer availability.
Sessions are subject to hospital visitor and photography policies. The client is responsible for confirming that photography is permitted. If hospital photography is not allowed or the session cannot take place before discharge, payments may be transferred to an In-Home Newborn Lifestyle Session.
Fresh 48 sessions do not include elaborate props, studio lighting or traditional posed-newborn setups. The experience is intentionally simple, calm and focused on preserving your baby’s earliest moments exactly as they unfold.
Parking & Hospital Fees
Hospital parking, valet charges, admission fees and any other facility-related costs are not included in the session price and are the client’s responsibility. Applicable fees will be added to the remaining balance or reimbursed before the final gallery is delivered.

When should I schedule my maternity photography session?
Maternity sessions are typically best when your bump is beautifully visible while you are still comfortable. Booking in advance also gives us time to plan your location, wardrobe and overall vision.
When should I book my newborn photography session?
It is best to reserve newborn photography before your baby arrives. In Home Newborn Sessions offer more flexibility around your baby’s arrival, while In Hospital Newborn Photography is coordinated around your delivery and hospital stay.
Can my partner or children be included in maternity and newborn photos?
Yes. Depending on the session you select, partners, siblings and immediate family can be incorporated to capture your growing family and the connection surrounding your newest addition.
What happens if the hospital does not allow photography?
In Hospital Newborn Photography is subject to hospital visitor and photography policies. If photography is not permitted, your payment can be transferred to an In Home Newborn Session.
